With over a decade of experience in the event and venue management business as well as 20 years experience in food and beverage, Julie brings a uniquely rounded perspective to any occasion.

Stacy Gibson, Sales & Event Manager
Stacy has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and has recently completed many educational upgrades in Public Relations and Event Planning. She has worked in various high-end restaurants in Vancouver and is very excited to be part of the Jewel Ballroom team. Stacy will be working on various aspects of the business including sales, meeting and conference planning, as well as managing the floor to make sure that the service at Jewel Ballroom is email@example.com
Matthew Kamieniecki, Executive Chef
Matt discovered his lifelong calling in his home town of San Francisco. In his 28 year long cooking career he has trained with some of the greats, including Michele Richard (Bistro M, Citronella & Citrus), Reid Herring (Restaurant Lulu, Rose Pistola & Black Cat) and the famed Wolfgang Puck (Postrio, Chinois, Spago).
He has travelled extensively across Europe, cheffing and learning about the cultures behind the cuisines.
He then began a 6 year period of running high end catering establishments focusing on events ranging from celebrity weddings to private planes and corporate events such as the Google Launch in 2004. After years of feeding the rich and famous, Matt and his wife, a Vancouver resident, moved to Canada. While in Vancouver Matt has been the Executive Chef of Capone’s restaurant in Yaletown and Nathan’s in Burnaby.
